Mischa Barton Arrested In West Hollywood

Mischa Barton was arrested in West Hollywood, CA at 2:45 am earlier today. The former "O.C." star was busted on suspicion of DUI, possession of marijuana and a controlled substance and driving without a valid license.




According the police reports, Barton "was seen straddling two lanes of traffic and failed to signal when making a turn." Cops then pulled her over and determined she was not in possession of a valid license but instead in the possession of marijuana and possibly under the influence of alcohol.




Mischa was released from police custody before noon today on $10,000 bail.

Paris Hilton's Family Inheritance Going To Charity Via Grandfather Barron Hilton

I helped her as much as I could back in May and June during her jailhouse drama. I even appeared on Ryan Seacreast's Los Angeles based morning radio show and on Geraldo Rivera's New York City based Fox News Channel live weekend cable television show in defense of the heiress we all know as Paris Hilton. But no one can seem to help her out of this dilemma:




The inheritance that would have been received by Paris, her sister Nicky and her two younger brothers will be donated to charity. Grandfather Barron Hilton has decided to give 97% of his $2.6 billion dollar fortune away to charity in lieu of allowing his grandchildren to inherit the money.




For Paris, I'm sure THAT'S NOT HOT!

Amy Winehouse Arrested Tuesday For Perversion Of Justice; Released Earlier Today

Grammy-Nominated singer Amy Winehouse was arrested and jailed by London police Tuesday for Perversion of Justice (the British equivalent of the United States' Obstruction of Justice) in the case pending against her currently jailed husband Blake Fielder-Civil.

Amy was released from police custody in the pre dawn hours earlier this morning. Winehouse is nominated for 6 Grammy awards. The Grammy Awards will be held February 5, 2008.

Jamie-Lynn's long time boyfriend Casey Alridge is the father of the unborn child. The expecting parents met in church several years back.

In related news, a Christian Publishing Company has suspended plans indefinitely for a book on parenting that Britney and Jamie-Lynn's mother Lynne Spears had been working on.
