Singer Britney Spears was involved in a minor traffic accident on the freeway in California yesterday evening (some reports say it was the 101 freeway, others say the 405 freeway).
The incident took place at 8:11 p.m. PST Saturday, when the 26 year old pop princess was driving her Mercedes and attempted to press the brake pedal before hitting a Nissan vehicle in front of her driven by a 20 year old male. Her car hit the Nissan and then the Nissan hit the car in front of it.
There are no reports of any injuries to Spears or the others involved in the accident. Britney was administered a field sobriety test by CHP (California Highway Patrol) officers, which she passed.
