DeBarge Brothers Arrested Just Days Apart In Separate Incidents

Jonathan Arthur "Chico" DeBarge was busted on August 30 for allegedly having illegal drugs and cash in his car. The LAPD says that Chico DeBarge and a female companion were driving a Toyota Camry on a Los Angeles highway when an officer observed them stop in a turn lane and switch seats. When they were pulled over by California Highway Patrol, cops say "illegal drugs and cash" were found in the car.

Chico's older brother Eldra "El" DeBarge is also in jail. The 46-year-old former singer was arrested on August 26 for charges of domestic abuse. He's being held on $20,000 bail and has not been released yet.

Eldra "El" was the lead singer of the hot 80s groups DeBarge. They had such hits as "Rhythm of the Night" and "All This Love".

Jonathan "Chico" had a solo career with songs like "Listen To Your Man" and "No Guarantee".
