Mischa Barton was rushed to a Los Angeles hospital earlier this evening via ambulance after becoming violently ill at a Memorial Day celebration at a friend's home. Sources say a mix of the prescription antibiotic Metronidazole and alcohol caused an adverse reaction, forcing her to need immediate medical attention.Barton, 21, just returned to the States from Cannes.
The "O.C." actress is reportedly recovering with family at her side.
