Hi Readers, are you the Xiao Long Bao (小笼包) Lover? If Yes! This post is definitely for you! Woohoo… Last Thursday, I was invited to the Xiao Long Bao food tasting at The Eastern Restaurant located at Centrepoint orchard.
Xiao Long Bao (小笼包) also known as xiaolong mantou, it’s a type of steamed bun from eastern china and it’s very popular in Shanghai as well as the Wuxi. The size of Xiao Long Bao (小笼包) is almost same like a dumpling we usually eat and of course it contains the delicious tasty steam soup in it.
At The Eastern Restaurant itself, Xiao Long Bao (小笼包) is handmade by the professional chef in their kitchen and they are served with hot bamboo baskets and the Xiao Long Bao is nested on a bed of napa cabbage.
