《惊叹号》 这首歌歌词里的“哇靠”是流行语里的惊叹词，方文山将它重新造句，转化成靠 毅力、靠斗志、靠自己，歌词充满热血与励志，说的是面对未来的险境与逆境，需要的是靠毅力、靠斗志、靠自己，才能创造自己的跑道，给敌人一记“惊叹号”！宛如电影配乐的浩浩声势，以警报声、重金属摇滚作为开场，强烈的节奏感令人听了血脉贲张，副歌不断重复的“靠”，节奏紧凑彷佛敌人逼近眼前奋力一击的魄力与戏剧张力，将所有情绪宣泄爆发出来！

周杰伦表示：“歌词值得玩味，每个人看了会有不同的见解，就是这首歌好玩的地方。”对于之前“哇靠”这个词引起一些争议，他说：“其实“哇靠”这个词，比“屌”还要保守很多，这是年轻人的用语，歌词其实就是结合流行口头禅的一种文字游戏，到时候大家看MV 就知道了。”

计算机CG动画MV里周杰伦化身正义使者，开着跑车穿梭在充满未来感的城市中打击恶魔，被敌人追杀的周杰伦一路开车经过 JVR 公司、Mr.J 餐厅、PHANTACi 与方文山凉面店，把自己公司及好朋友经营的店置入在 MV 中（方文山凉面店则是他的玩笑想象），最后他还冲锋陷阵直捣恶魔首脑的基地，一连串的步步追击，营造出速度感与强烈的紧张气氛。

整支 《惊叹号》 的 MV 以计算机 CG 动画呈现，是周杰伦 MV 中首次的尝试，也是华人歌手中少见以如此精致手法制作的计算机 CG 动画 MV！早在一年多前，杰伦就构思剧情并请专人开始绘制这支计算机 CG 动画 MV，武打动作部分还请武术老师先以真人动作拍摄，再进行计算机绘图处理，呈现出精湛的动作细节，加上采用杜比音效，让整支 MV 视听效果十足，随专辑附赠的 DVD 也把这支《惊叹号》精彩的计算机 CG 动画 MV 收录其中。
