Actress Cameron Diaz's father, Emilio Diaz, died earlier this morning in California from complications resulting from pneumonia. Sources say the late Mr. Diaz was in good health, which makes his death all the more shocking.Cameron's father Emilio did contract the flu (the Influenza virus) and the flu turned to pnuemonia, which reportedly resulted in his untimely death today.
Production was shut down today on Cameron Diaz's latest film My Sister's Keeper because of her father's passing.
