Year 2012 The New Chapter for this Blog to Begin

Happy New Year to all my Readers once again! Woohoo! Is Year 2012 and I am going to start my new chapter in this blog. 365 days has passed, year 2011 has ended and it going to turn into history someday, as for today onward, we should keep on looking forward to fulfill our dream in future.

Tomorrow is my last day of school term break holiday, time flies fast, and 3 weeks of holiday has gone, getting ready to welcome the stress and busy days… Well, I believe that everyone is ready to battle for their next section of life.

Where you guys did went for countdown 2012 last night? As for me, I met up with my friend, Danial and we left our house in the early afternoon to visit the Marina Bay Promontory first followed by esplanade and lastly The Float at Marina Bay.

Yesterday, it was a windy and sunny weather; I took a slow walk around the Marina Bay with my friend, looking up at the blue sky and patch of white cloud above me, seeing bird flying around me beautifully, I stepped on my lovely country and preparing to welcome the Year of 2012.


In the evening, met Jessie and Shu Qing and together with my friend Danial, we went into the float of Marina Bay for countdown to 2012. Woot! The place was extremely crowded last night, about 20k of people surrounded the Marina Bay area, waiting for the clock to strike at 12AM and capture the fireworks moment. Here is the message I written last midnight on my 微博: “ 祝大家2012年快樂！ ！剛從和幾位好友到了新加坡濱海灣浮動平台倒數迎接2012年場面氣氛十足大​​家都很開心新的一到來。 。 。今晚的煙火也顯得很燦爛搭配著美麗的音樂背景著的是令我大開眼界！哈哈在新的一年裡我希望大家天天過得開開心心平平安安。 。今年一定會比去年好！”


It was a memorable night on the last day of Year 2011 and the first minute of Year 2012. One year has passed again; I think is time for you guys to write out your New Year resolution! Anyway, I hope everyone dream may come true and success this year!

New Year Eve Marina Bay Countdown: Join Me Countdown 2012 at The Float Marina Bay

Its time to countdown for a brand new year 2012!!! Woohoo… Are you guys ready to welcome the year 2012? What is your plan for your countdown this year? Where are you going to countdown? I guess in Singapore there are many places for you guys to countdown this year.

For me, I will be countdown the New Year at marina bay floating platform! Yes! I went down to Marina Bay - Esplanade places for countdown almost every year and I am glad that i will be going down this year too! Thank you URA for the "Celebrate 2012" The Float @ Marina Bay tickets! Going to take many pictures this weekend yeah!


If you have passing by Marina Bay esplanade recently, you will notice that there are many wishing ball floating around on the Singapore River. Have you written your best wishes on the wishing ball? I did it since last week! Haha…


In 2011, things has been changing every fast in life, just a blink of eyes its end of year already and it was a moment for us to memories what we have done and what we have achieve at the end of the year. Everything has goes smooth and awesome to me as days passed and with my busy schedule activities it makes my life more challenging and interesting.


To be honest, I am very looking forward to the year 2012, I believe it will be greater and hopefully there are more new things for me to experience. Countdown to year 2012 is just in a day time; likewise we should treasure and cherish the last moment, the last day and the last minutes! Do you agree? Candle Night Festival 2011 at Singapore Marina Bay

A candle light event took place at the Merlion Park on Saturday, 5th November. The Candle Night Event is about environmental whereby the marina bay area will be light up using the recycled materials.

There were a lot of people especially tourists who made their visit as part of their destination in Singapore. Many of them were seen taking pictures of the Merlion and the landscape of the Marina Bay.




In some areas of the Merlion Park was adorned with artificial candles and also an outer body of crabs. The event volunteers tried to engage the people around and some of these people who came by eventually get involved in the event.


With many people participating, it makes the event more lively. Basically, materials were provided to make your own lanterns. I was truly amazed by the kids who were very creative in making their lanterns.

Life is a Mystery hidden with History

Woot! It has been awhile since my last post about my daily life and school life. If you have followed my twitter or weibo, you guys will know that my October was enjoying with busy work stuff and November is going to be another pack schedule week.


It’s almost second week of November and my life still passed as usual. In school, more and more assignment work coming up… Although I had use to it with the school system but I still hope that there are more holiday on the weekdays! Hahaha…


Few days back in school, one of my lessons requires us to come out with a team-building game. The objective of this lesson is to let us know how to communicate among the group as well as challenging the task given to accomplish it in the fastest way. *Need to write a report on this* I will share the full version of”teamwork among the group” story in my blog soon…

Candle Night 2011 at Merlion Park

Hi Readers! Are you free this coming Saturday 5th November 2011? There is some happening at Merlion Park, One Fullerton Marina Bay! Candle Night is back in Singapore...

It’s a special environmental event to help in finding one’s inner sense of time and this event eventually was started in Japan since 2003. Thus, this going to be an interesting celebration of Candle Night using the recycled materials as the principle theme of the event. Now its time to Turn off the Light, and take it slow!

Venue: Merlion Park Singapore
Date 5 November 2011
Time: 6:00PM - 8.00 PM

Note that, this event is free of charge and open for public participation. The event will cater for a free public participation to indulge in lantern making at candle kiosk and for all to enjoy an evening of beautiful flickering candle light.

What is Candle Night?
Candle Night, and environmental event that helps in finding one's inner sense of time, is the brainchild of a non-profit environmental group in Japan. Candle Night events have been held in Japan since 2003. Last year, the Lighting Detectives Singapore organized the first Candle Night event in Singapore, in which over 500 participants created floating lanterns at the Marina Bay.

This year, the Lighting Detectives together with public participants will light the Merlion Park using candles within hand-made lanterns. Participating cafes and restaurants along the waterfront will also be lit up with specially designed candles and lanterns in their outdoor seating areas.

Using recycled materials as the principal theme, lanterns crafted out of plastic bottles, cups and even crab shells will be displayed at Marina Bay.

Art students from Singapore and Japan will also participate in the event and create large-scale candle installations. The event will cater for free public participation to indulge in lantern making at the Candle Kiosk, and for all to enjoy an evening of beautiful flickering candle light.

F1 Singapore Results: Sebastian Vettel Won the Championship!

Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix 2011 has officially ended! Have you seen the overall race result? Is above here! Hahaha… It was an another exciting and interesting race this year at Marina Bay and I do believe that the local and non-local people do enjoy their night life at Marina Bay with the awesome entertainment provided too.

Congratulation to Sebastian Vettel from the team of RBR-Renault, who won the championship of Singapore F1 this year! Lets drink red bull now to celebrate it! *Smiles*

"Vettel is truly a champion. He have all what a sportsman need. Sportmanship, consistenency, mental strength, aggresiveness and talent."

Summary review of Singapore Grand Prix 2011:
After three days of non-stop action, the spectacular and dramatic F1 night race has ended with Sebastian Vettel crowned as the winner of the Singapore Grand Prix followed by Jenson button and Mark Webber who finishes 2nd and 3rd respectively.

Thousands of motorsports enthusiasts thronged the marina bay circuit to catch the race and have kept the atmosphere alive and exciting. As the race kick-off, the F1 drivers fought against one another and displayed their superb driving skills to win the race and earn points for their team.

There are a couple of dramatic accidents that happened during the race and hence, the safety car was deployed to ensure the roads safe before resuming the race. At the end of the race, the dazzling fireworks lit up the night sky and added the overall excitement at the end of the event.
